Children’s Ministries

We believe children already experience God and know Him in a deep and personal way. All of our children’s ministries programs–from Nursery to Godly Play to our Preschool Christian Education program–are intentionally designed for kids to learn about Jesus and know Him personally in a way that is natural for them. This often includes elements of imaginative play and asking questions.

Nursery

We offer a fully-staffed nursery for families during worship for children 3 months through age 3. The nursery is located on the main level of the Christian Education building.

We also encourage parents to keep children with them during worship. We believe that there is always a place for children during the gathered worship time, and that participating in worship is foundational to cultivating their imagination and faith in Jesus.

 

 

Godly Play

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWe use a Sunday School curriculum called Godly Play for children Preschool through 4th grade. This Montessori-based program encourages children to think about faith and God on their own and encourages them to ask questions to build a strong and personal relationship with God. We’d love to involve your children in our play!

Again, we also encourage parents to keep children with them during worship when they feel their child is ready.
