SERMON SERIES:
[Guest Speaker]

Bible Passage: John 1:43-51

Reflection Questions (use with your small group or on your own):

  1. Where do you see prejudice in your own life? What people groups or places do you look down on?
  2. Have you ever felt like Amy–“God, how could You send me here?” Describe that time in your life.
  3. Are you still in that place of questioning, or has God changed your perspective?
  4. Amy said that greatness from God’s perspective is doing what He has called you to do in the places He has called you to go for the people He dearly loves. Where might God be sending you?
  5. If you are ready to pray this prayer, go ahead and do so. If not, pray about being in a place where you can pray this prayer honestly and willingly.

“God, you can have all of me. You can make nothing of my life or something.
It’s your choice. You can have it all.”

Remember the Truth:

“Greatness from God’s perspective is not doing GREAT things in GREAT cities for GREAT people. It’s doing the things HE instructs you to do in the places HE instructs you to go for the people HE so dearly loves.” (Amy Cornell)
